The Daredevil Run is a massive countrywide phenomenon. And for good reason. It’s not only about doing something a little daring, fun, unique and liberating – it’s about raising awareness and at the same time, using the power of collective action to inspire positive change.
The 2016 Daredevil Run 19th February looks set to be the biggest Daredevil Run to date.
Having a conversation about our balls isn’t comfortable. But it’s got to be done. So sign up for the run, get yourself checked and join batallions of brave men (and the women who support them) as together we help run cancer outta town.
All funds raised from your entry fee go towards cancer screeningand awareness programmes across the country. So the more Hollard Daredevils that run, the greater our impact will be.
The annual Daredevil Run is 4km long, which brings 3000 runners from five cities across the country (Jozi, CT, DBN, George and Nelspruit) together to 'run cancer out of town' by raising awareness and running in purple Speedos.
It doesn't matter if you're not in shape, the message and cause is what it's all about on the day.
If you've signed up, you'll be eligible to enter the #MANuarySA competition, which includes two flights, accommodation for two nights and car rental from Kulula. You just have to upload an image on social media using that hashtag and tagging Daredevil.
The Daredevil Run is all in aid of raising awareness for cancers affecting men. To hype it up and to make sure we're running cancer out of town, we are calling on all runners to sign up at www.daredevilrun.com, snap a pic of their entries or themselves in a purple Speedo using the hashtag #MANuarySA. There's a great prize up for grabs from us and Kulula, so get involved. T's and C's apply.
